Level 2 English
You will be introduced to new and unfamiliar ideas that make you think about yourself in relation to the world. You will learn how to contribute and participate in groups as you work together to make meaning, and later, to create your own texts.
What Knowledge Will I Develop?
The course aims to build the core skill of analysis. This skill is valuable in several other subjects at school and is also recognised by employers. You will also develop knowledge of language features, strategies to check whether texts are reliable when you search for information, and ways to communicate orally and in writing.
