U18 NZ Junior White Sox selection for Mia Kingi-Hicks

Congratulations to Mia Kingi-Hicks who also plays for the Thoroughbred Softball Club in the CMA. Mia plays in the U15s boys’ team in the Auckland competition and the U15s mixed CMSA – who were the division Champions this season.

Mia was also selected for the CM U15s, who were the Champions and the CM U17s who were the National Runners-up and the Tournament team. Her CM U19s team were 5th place. Amazing achievements.

Like her older brother, Mia also finds time to be assistant coach of the U13 girls Rookie Sox team who were Champions this season.

Mia’s talent has been recognised early as she has been selected for the U18 NZ Junior White Sox who travel to California (USA) later this year.

We wish you all the very best for your continued success Mia – amazing achievement for someone so young. Your commitment and tenacity are an inspiration.

Mia & Mikaera’s parents and whānau are ‘very proud of their achievements so far in life’. It seems that these siblings are following in their successful mum’s footsteps with mum Michelle gracing the Pukekohe High School sports honours board.
