Teacher of Te reo Māori and / or tikanga Māori and / or Māori performing arts

Suitable for beginning teacher.

The school requires a trained and qualified teacher of Te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and Toi Whakaari [Māori performing arts].

We are seeking a teacher with sound experience in at least two of the above subjects so that they become an integral member of a small team delivering interesting curriculum initiatives at both junior and senior year levels.  We currently offer a combined Te reo and tikanga semester course to year 9s, Te reo Māori (Year 9 to Year 13) and also Toi Whakaari (Year 10 to 11)

The position is full-time and permanent.  Consideration will be given to someone who has just completed a training programme and is looking to start in the profession and who possesses the necessary skills to meet the school’s requirements.

An ability to teach to Year 13 in either Calculus and / or Statistics is expected.

HOD Physics

We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our high-performing and well-resourced science team.  The successful teacher will need to be able to lead a senior physics team, as well as teach NCEA level 2 and Level 3 Physics, and junior science.  Additional leadership opportunities may be available to a suitable candidate.

We are seeking a team-player to lead the Junior English programme. Ability to question data and devise action plans to ensure equitable outcomes for learners is essential.
