Through this course you will be develop creative and critical thinking skills. You will also develop your writing skills and be able to make statements that are well supported by ancient sources and detailed evidence. You will be encouraged to develop a can do attitude through self-motivation and good time management.

Course Information

What Knowledge Will I Develop?

Throughout this course you will learn about the Classical Greek world. This will include developing an understanding of Greek religion and society. This course internally focuses on Pompeii and the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius (Roman Topic) and the comparison between ancient Greece’s Heracles and Disney’s Hercules. Externally, this course focuses on Euripides text ‘Herakles’ and ancient Greek art and architecture. Throughout this course, you will make connections from the ancient world to modern society, developing an understanding of the influence of ancient Greece
