Through both self management and collaborative learning students will gain knowledge, skills and experience to manage the financial affairs of medium business entities while acting with integrity. The course challenges students to think about and suggest sustainable solutions to respond to financial challenges in our community and wider economy.

Course Information

What Knowledge Will I Develop?

Level 2 accounting widens the applications of accounting to different users who are making financial decisions. The course looks at subsystems that rely on accounting data (eg inventory management), management decisions arising from external factors, a case study based on a current financial issue in our community. We also develop financial reporting to a higher level with analysis of our reports being an optional standard.
