Statistics is the exploration and use of patterns and relationships in data. Statistics requires different ways of thinking and skills for solving problems. Students will need to investigate, interpret, explain, and make sense of the world in which they live.

Course Information

What Knowledge Will I Develop?

Students will learn to make sense of information by interpreting the data using analytical tools. The analysis template (PPDAC) provides a framework for making decisions and providing advice. These skills are particularly sort after in todays information driven world. The ability to solve problems and provide solutions is a key skill which can be applied in most organisations.
