Read with Me was recognised by the Pukekohe Business Association at a recent Youth Centre Event. Shawna Coleman, Town Centre Manager, presented the award for Best Business Idea to the team below. “This book is an awesome idea to teach children about our local and valuable history in a beautiful way. This business has so much potential for future projects to enhance the local knowledge of Pukekohe,” Shawna quoted.

Read with Me provides an enjoyable and interactive reading resource for children between the ages 4 and 10, titled “Nana knows Best”. It integrates Te Reo Maaori into the story. The storyline is of Nana taking her mokopuna for a walk around Pukekohe telling the local stories at each place they pass.
