Congratulations to Callum Nielsen who recently won the Jim & Joyce Wheadon Cup at the Matamata Festival for his expressive controlled clarinet playing. This is a significant achievement for Callum as this competition is against adults as well as students. Callum is also a high-level cello and clarinet player. Well done Callum. Keiran was apart of 2 teams that won the Hip Hop Nationals last year. They were in 2 different divisions, varsity team (The Swagganauts) and junior varsity megacrew (Yung ID). On 6 May our PHS Concert Band performed at the Blues vs Moana Pacific game.  They performed with four other Auckland schools to hype the crowd in a combined Concert band.
