PHS Students Take Our Gold, Silver & Bronze at MIT Culinary Competition

Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) hosted its Secondary School Culinary Competitions Tuesday 28 May. Eight Pukekohe High School students who attend MIT Trades Academy entered the competitions. The competitions give the students the opportunity to showcase their culinary, baking or food and beverage skills.

Wiremu Potini-Poroa U17 Development Maori Rugby League Tournament Champions

Well done to Wiremu who played for the U17 Development team at the NZ Maori Rugby League tournament in Counties Manukau over the weekend. The team had 5 games in total, with Wiremu said to have played an ‘outstanding tournament’. Becoming champions in their grade is a great reward for Wiremu and the team.
