Well done to our Concert Band who achieved a Silver Award at the KBB Music Festival last week. We had junior students who performed for the first time – great work. We commend your commitment and hard work in gaining this well deserved award.

We are so proud of our student musicians for their latest achievement at the KBB Music Festival in Auckland. Our Stage Band gained a Silver Award, along with the Best Performance of a NZ work. Our students represented their school with pride. Well done to the Stage Band on this great achievement.

Our Pukekohe High School Choir achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the Under-17 category at the South Auckland Performing Arts Competition (SAPACS) this month. This achievement is especially exciting as it marks the choir’s very first time participating in the competition. Recently our Year 9 Social Studies students participated in a Social Action on the issue of Fast Fashion. Students held a bake sale and clothing swap, fundraising $563.70 for Fashion Revolution NZ.  

We are incredibly proud of our Girls 1st XI Football team. They have taken out 1st place in the Counties A Grade with 13/13 wins, including the final 9-0! During a recent 1-day workshop, a small group of Pukekohe High School students collaborated with Auckland Transport to help design their road safety campaign material specifically for Pukekohe. The creative work includes banners, posters, vests, flags, drink bottles and all merchandise to bring awareness to our pedestrian crossings and road safety for children. Future workshops
