Well done to Marli who completed a hospitality course in the April school holidays organised by the PHS Gateway Team. The course consisted of learning about food safety, making barista coffees and counter service training.

Marli gained an extra 20 credits towards her NCEA. After completing the course, students are required to do 5 days’ work experience in a hospitality setting. Marli did her work experience at Columbus Coffee Cafe, Edinburgh Street and gained part-time employment.
