Tauranga Jazz Festival Winners

Congratulations to Callum Nielsen who recently won the Jim & Joyce Wheadon Cup at the Matamata Festival for his expressive controlled clarinet playing. This is a significant achievement for Callum as this competition is against adults as well as students. Callum is also a high-level cello and clarinet player. Well done Callum.

Congratulations to outstanding young trombonist Willow Thompson, who was recognised for her technique and musicianship at the recent Tauranga Jazz Festival and was awarded the Best Trombonist Award. Well done Willow.
