Born in Tauranga and raised in South-East Auckland, I have had the pleasure of calling the Franklin region home for the past 10 years. Coming from a background in academia and plant virology, I joined the teaching staff of Pukekohe High School in 2019. Over the past 7 years, I have been a member of our Science faculty and since 2022, have lead the development of our senior Biology courses as the head of department.
I firmly believe in the importance of education and the opportunities this provides our aakonga for their future success. Supporting our students to unlock their passions, strengths, self-belief and identity is a fundamental driving force in my role as an educator.
I look forward to supporting our senior leadership team this year in the capacity of Assistant Principal.
