Study Complaints

We are committed to making sure all students have a positive and supportive experience at our school. If something is not going well, we encourage you to talk to us as soon as possible so we can work together to find a solution.

Raising a concern will not affect your place at the school or your relationship with staff. We are here to help.

Our Process

In most cases, concerns can be resolved quickly by speaking with the right person.

We recommend the following steps:
  1. Talk to your classroom teacher or the staff member directly involved
  2. If the issue is not resolved, speak with the Head of Department, Dean, or a member of the International Team
  3. You are always welcome to bring a support person with you when discussing a concern

Our team is here to listen and support you, and we will do our best to resolve any issues fairly and respectfully.

If you feel that your concern has not been resolved through the school’s process, you can seek further support outside of the school. You may take your complaint to Study Complaints an independent dispute resolution service that helps international students and education providers work through concerns.

You may also contact the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) for information about your rights and the school’s responsibilities. Details about their role and complaints process can be found on their website – Go to the NZQA website.
