Hi, my name is Caitlin Stuart. I have lived in Pukekohe all my life, attended Valley Primary School and Pukekohe Intermediate before attending Pukekohe High School. I am proud to hold the position of Haapori Amokura (Community Head Student)
My interest is surfing, running and socialising with friends and family.
I am passionate about law and the justice system which drives my motivation to ensure the people in my community are supported and well represented. This year at school I have been coaching and adjudicating for junior debaters which has improved my leadership and mentoring skills. Over the past two years I’ve been actively involved in the Pukekohe Leos club, holding the position of secretary. Activities I have participated in with the Leos club that have benefited the community include environment clean ups, Christmas tree planting and selling, helping with the Beautification trust, and many more. The experiences and networks created through the Leos will carry through into the community council to raise exposure of the work Pukekohe High School students and staff contribute to the Pukekohe community.
As the Haapori Amokura (Community Head Student) I embrace the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Pukekohe High School and the wider community. I am excited to lead a collaborative council and a trusting environment where every individual feels confident to provide their input to help achieve the community council goals.
