Last week, Pukekohe High School received some special student visitors from Yasuda Gauken High School in Japan.  What a great day we had and the school showed its strengths very well.  Special mention to our Maaori Department staff and Kapa haka crew for the Poowhiiri experience and the performance later in the hall.  The band performance in the blue room was also a highlight for the group.  Alongside this we had the school ambassadors that did us proud with a school tour and then a classroom experience for each individual student.  This meant we had available about 30 ambassadors (enough to cover sickness or absence) willing to showcase our school and their classrooms.  This is a list of the students that were involved and did us proud.  Aniisa Firdaus, Jo Enriquez, Andree Louw, Jade Van Der Coer, Kyla Remkes, Tina Hung, Alice Li, Rory Mulcahy, Brennan Miller, Callum Smith, Ben Green, Isadora Rueckert, Ashleigh Higgs, Sophie Sumner, Gloria Donaldson, Samantha Tamaiva, Mele Lafaele, Katrina Aceron, Ciaran Hanrahan, Troy Wellstood, Jack McCullough, Cole Van Gysen, Malia Lafaele, Jonathan Westlake, Kyla Fisher, Gloria Fa’avae, Anurag Deo, Amber Jones, Emma Bradley, Keiichiro Mase, Yuzuki Hamashima.  We hope those students that had these students in your classes were able to show the students a little of the NZ curriculum. Well done to everyone involved.
