Home Stay Rules for International Students attending Pukekohe High School
International students at Pukekohe High School must live in a homestay organised by the school, or by their parents. All trips and travel or alternative accommodation away from school caregivers or homestays must be approved by the International Director and/or the Senior Management Team.

When a homestay has not been arranged through the school, the student’s parents must complete and sign the ‘Designated Caregivers’ form releasing the School from responsibility for the students welfare outside the school hours.

Pukekohe High School will administer the homestay accommodation fees for all Pukekohe High School managed homestays.

Students living in Pukekohe High School homestays must behave appropriately in the homestay and follow the individual homestay rules.

The wellbeing of all international students attending Pukekohe High School is the guideline for these rules.

All homestay students are given a “Pukekohe High School Homestay Booklet” that explains things such as: table manners in New Zealand, helping around the home, contact numbers for an emergency along with the 24 hour access number for urgent enquiries, which is monitored by the International Director/Homestay Co-ordinator.
