The 40 Hour Famine is New Zealand’s largest youth fundraiser, running annually for more than 40 years, is coming to Pukekohe High School.
Last year, almost 100,000 young Kiwis across Aotearoa, supported the South Sudanese children seeking refuge in Uganda by raising $1.8m through the 40 Hour Famine challenge. This year, the 40 Hour Famine will be taking place on 7-9 June 2019.
Choose from 20 to 40 hour challenges, your imagination is the only limit – whatever idea you have to raise money this year, go for it. From giving up food or your phone, to living out of a backpack, or running a bake sale, no idea is a bad idea. Sponsorship booklets are available at the table in front of the library from 21 May-31 May during lunchtime.
