ASSESSMENT:   To Gain Tools4Work LEVEL 1 certificate – internal assessment for 24 credits, plus 16 credits from maths, English and science.

COURSE FEES: $60.00 to cover cost of materials

PREREQUISITES: Students must have gained a minimum of an achieved grade or better in 5 out of 8 of the year 10 course objectives and/or the approval of TIC. A satisfactory workshop record is required.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:   Workshop processes including but not limited to, hand tool, measuring, milling, design, engineering drawing and health & safety protocol.

EXCLUSIONS: Classes must not contain more than 24 students for safety purposes. Any unsafe and/or unsatisfactory workshop practice. Classes will depend on staffing, rooming and resources available.
